All big names of European history stayed at our property in the course of history. 2.The property which is located on private grounds on the shore of Lake Wörthersee boasts the historic castle and a U-shape contemporary building around the castle, which is supposed to represent the fortified walls of the castle. It was designed by the famous architect duo Jabourneg & Palffy who refurbished the Austrian Parliament in Vienna. Although 2 different purposefully created design styles, the hotel is connected absolutely fluidly, and in the public areas you would not know if you are in the historic or contemporary part they perfectly intertwine. Of course, once you are in the sleeping rooms you definitely understand that you are either in the classic room or rather in the contemporary part 3.
